The cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the Peak District where you won't be short of things to do, be it sightseeing, walking, mountain biking, or even pot-holing, rock-climbing or fell- running. The Snake Path to Kinder and beyond starts beside the cottage. Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park and the caverns at Castleton are within easy reach.
Hayfield is a picturesque village, full of character and historical interest with a range of shops and a variety of pubs for eating out .
