Peak Cottage is located in the Peak District village of Hayfield at 115 Kinder Road, Hayfield, Derbyshire, SK22 2LE.

Best accessed by car, Hayfield lies approximately 3 miles east of New Mills, 4.5 miles south of Glossop and 10 miles north of Buxton by road. The nearest motorways are the M1, M6 & M60, with good A-road access via the A6 and A515.

About our surroundings

Hayfield is a picturesque village full of character and historical interest with a range of shops and a variety of pubs for eating out. The 19th century stone Peak Cottage is situated at the top of Kinder Road on the edge of the village with great views across the valley from the front windows.

For walkers and cyclists the Snake Path to Kinder and the High Peaks starts beside the cottage with easy access to the Pennine Way. There are also many interesting heritage locations within easy reach, including:
